Most desired dresses..... At the moment

Right now there are two dresses I really want to get... But I'll need to save for them or have to decide if I want them at all. The thing is I haven't bought a single lolita thing in months. Like honestly the last openly lolita thing I bought was probably shoes.

But anyway back to dresses. The first dress I really like is very unconventional, it's probably why I like it so much.
Metamorphose Airline Attendant Dress
Don't ask me even why this color scheme, I just really like it. It's just kinda out there... Like REALLY out there. It makes me think of summer even though it's suppose to be akin to an airline attendant dress. Though I really like it in this crazy color scheme, I would just like any color combination. They're all just so cute and fun! I even have a picture of someone wearing it!
Model wearing "Airline Attendant" Dress
It's one of those types of clothes that looks better on a person then a dummy. There's a matching hat, but I'm not quite into it though it perfects the outfit.

The next dress is something tha t I've had my eyes on for a long time, but then it became available somewhat locally (meaning that a U.S. shop had it and I wouldn't have to pay in yen).
Un Chateau Secret Robe by Chantilly
This dress is simply wonderful, and I love it in this color scheme. It's just such a lovely contrast. So elegant, so stylish. The drawing that is on the dress was done by Tsubaki Tori, who has done work with Atelier Pierrot as well. The only downside to this lovely dress is its price. But... I simply cannot resist its lovely allure~

You can see why I like the dress, it's simply even more lovely on a person. I think if I save up spare money I should be able to get this dress, and it's one that I'm leaning towards getting. As much as I love the color pink, I also love monotone color schemes. And this is the one dress that steals my heart over and over and over again. Chantilly has seriously won over my heart and makes me want to own every single dress they make that I can fit.

Hello Kitty Poupee Girl Event

Well currently on Poupee Girl (a Japanese site dedicated to socialization, avatar dress up, and closet sharing). They're currently having an event collaboration with Hello Kitty.

The event has the basic background for everyone, but the clothing items can only be purchased with jewels. Jewels are the cash based currency on Poupee Girl while ribbons are obtained by just commenting, posting clothes and dressing up.

But back to the collaboration. I have two coordinations so far.

My girl when the event started
Well here's what I was wearing when the event started. As you can see the room is kind of bare and Piyo is just sitting on the table instead of hanging out on the window like he usually does.

Ultimate Hello Kitty room with all of my new stuff
Now, here is it with all of my new stuff I bought. What makes me happy is I was able to snag one of the limited mats that were there. But I still have a few more things I would like to buy, but I think I might wait. Or if I feel like it I will spend a little bit more money on this event.

The Hello Kitty event means a lot to me for many reasons. First of all since I can dress up in Hello Kitty goods and show my Kitty-chan pride. But mostly, I've grown up with Hello Kitty in my life and she's been a part of my childhood and adulthood, and I love her so much. And I love the woman behind her new image very much and she's one of my idols.

So I buy the jewels so I can show my appreciation for Kitty-chan.

The only thing that makes me sad is when the event background is gone... I can't have it back.

Ladies Scream... You're Card Battling King Is Back

There's something exciting in the works over at Kotobukiya and it's named "Yami Yugi".

That's right card battling kid Yugi Mutou's alter ego/body swap buddy; the king, is here in prototype form just for everyone to see.

Full Body Picture
He looks like he's about to throw down a card onto his duel disk, the pose is quite good and nostalgic of the anime and manga series. Along with his flowing "cape" (which is just the jacket of his gakuran) this is looking to be a great nostalgic piece for anyone who was a fan of the show to collect.
Back Side
The gakuran top seems to be a cast-off part of his figure which is quite neat.
The details in the duel disk are quite amazing to begin with as well. As with the gakuran top this piece seems like another interchangeable piece to position Yami Yugi in a different style, at least compared to the back image.

He will be 1/7 scale and should be completed some time in 2012. Hopefully Kotobukiya will keep us updated with color prototype soon.
